Aiya's First Birthday-Looking Back
I know I am a little late on this, but that's just how I am I guess. I was going to post her b-day pictures but I will do that next because my computer would freeze when I would try to add those to the slide show. Anyway, Aiya is a big 1 yr old now! Kind of sad, crazy, and exciting all in one. She has grown so fast! I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. What a special day for our little family. One thing that happened during my pregnancy with her, that I kind of forgot to share in my testimony, was when I was about 18-20 wks along. One morning I woke up and something just didn't feel right. I went to the bathroom, and I was spotting pretty bad. Right away I asked for a blessing from Brandon. I found a Dr. named Dr. Wai in Dallas that wanted to see me right away. He checked me, and without giving you all the details, he said that something had obviously happened but it looked like the bleeding had stopped and things looked great. Of course he told me to stay down for a week or two, but right then and there, I new it was from the priesthood blessing and that she was meant to come to our family. Brandon's friend Jake came over that night to give another blessing, this time with the oil, and I felt so calm finally. I am so thankful that Brandon holds the Priesthood in our home. Thanks to my mom coming out, I was able to rest. That experience made the tightest bond with Aiya and made me realize that I couldn't live without her. She is everything to our family. Happy Birthday & We love love you Aiya!!!

Miss You and Love You Grandpa Bodily March 16, 1914-October 21, 2008
So my sweet little grandpa just passed away last week. It's sad because we don't get to go visit him anymore, but such a happy feeling to know he is with my cute grandma again. They had to wait to be together again for 23, almost 24 years, so the wait was long enough. I love my grandpa so much and am filled with such fun and happy memories. You never saw my grandpa without a pepsi in his hand, so maybe that's where we all got it from:) I remember him taking Lance and I on rides in the tractor or going to do chores at 5am(that only happened once for me). He would always take us to town to get a pepsi and snickers, and he would half his candy bar with his doq. My grandpa and I were pretty competitive or maybe stubborn, we used to bet on the NBA games when he lived with us, and he always stuck to the bet. It was so funny how much he loved the "Wrastles"! It was so cute to hear him talk about grandma, he missed her so much. Although we will miss him so so much, I know we are so happy that he is in such a better place with his best friend, grandma. Grandpa, we love you and will miss you till we see you again.
P.S. Please get me pictures to add to this, this is all I had. Pause my music so you can hear the song that was sung at his funeral.

Aiya Being Naughty!!!
I know I am way behind on posting, so I am going to try to catch up here in the next few days! This all happened right before we left Albuquerque in August. I had gone down to the pool with Victoria to lay out before Brandon had to go to work. Well, I get a call from Brandon telling me that Aiya did something really bad. Of course a million things go through my head! After a minute or two we decide to go back to our apartments. When I walked in I noticed that Brandon had vacuumed. I asked him what happened and he said to just look at the pictures on the camera. It wasn't so bad after all. I thought it was kind of funny! Brandon had left her alone in the front room while he got ready for work, big mistake! Especially, when he had left the bag of chips on the floor! We had a good laugh about it. I guess Brandon learned that he can't leave Aiya all alone in another room, not even for a minute!

Swimming, Laundry, and Napping!
So I've been a bit of a slacker with this whole blog thing. It's kind of hard when you really don't know what your doing. And I really like to look at everybody else's. Anywho, we are still here in Albuquerque, just getting ready to come home in less than 2 weeks!! Yes, I'm just a little excited to get home. So Aiya is still army crawling. She just doesn't want to lift up her belly, but I guess she has her way to get around and it's not a slow way. She takes steps when you hold her hands, she doesn't have any balance I swear. I just can't believe how much fun we actually have together. I really am so greatful that Brandon works so hard so that I can be home with her. He is such a great dad. Here are some pictures of us just playing doing our usual daily thing! She's definitely like her mom and needs her sleep after a hard day of playing and laundry!:) Hope you all like them lots!!
